This new crossover vehicle from Toyota is designed to be noticeable.
The C-HR , stands for Coupe High-Rider, and is described as stylish, athletic, and tech-filled.
It was designed to appeal to young trendsetters who will be impressed with some of its unusual lines and design details.
It has a wide appearance with halogen headlights and LED daytime running lights that curve up around the side of the vehicle.
The rear lights are of an equally unique design that sweep away from the vehicle in winglike fashion. You’ll definitely know you’re behind one when in traffic.
One of the more interesting exterior design features are the rear doors. As the body contours and narrows toward the back, the rear door handles are located at the top of the door giving the side of the body a smooth and uninterrupted shape.
When it finally arrives the C-HR will be available in two models – the XLE and ELE Premium.
Both models will have 18-inch alloy wheels and bucket seating.
Inside the C-HR will have seating for up to five. A large rear hatchback opens to reveal a large capacity storage area.
The dashboard and drivers console is highly stylized and both nice to look at functional with easy to reach controls such as automatic climate control and full power accessories.
There is a large touchscreen that will provide an array of technology assist options.
Under the hood, there is a 2 L, 4-cylinder engine providing 144 horsepower.
As a cross-over vehicle designed for people on the move, the C-HR is specifically designed for an urban dwelling population that spend a lot of time navigating tight city streets while on the go.
